Rules
The purpose of these regulations (the “Tournament Rules”) is to provide a fair and friendly environment for players, commentators and spectators. Players agree that Hall of Knights administration may amend or alter these Rules at any time without notice. These are the general rules of the organization, if they conflict with the specific rules of one of our events, the specific rules will be respected first and then the general ones.
Registration / Attendance
- Players are responsible for correctly registering in the platform Community Gaming, this includes providing all data, Ronin, Axies and all information that is request in the Registration. Not providing all the complete information may lead to the disqualification of the tournament.
- Players must confirm their presence during the Check-in stage (15 - 30 minutes before the start of the tournament) by pressing the “Check-in” button on the platform Community Gaming. Not performing this action will lead to the player not be added to the bracket and is an irrevocable decision.
- Players must be present at the Discord Server of Hall of Knights (HOK) throughout the tournament. If a user is not reachable by Discord will be disqualified.
- It is penalized that after confirming an invitation or obtaining the classification through an open qualifier, the players do not show up for the Main Event, if there is a force majeure reason they must notify the organization to have time to select a replacement. The penalties will consist of removing all right to obtain prizes in the tournament and even the disqualification from participating in future events organized by Hall of Knights.
Axies / Runes / Ronin
- Each player must submit a minimum of 3 Axies and a maximum established in the tournament registration within the established period for it, once the Axies have been registered for a specific stage, say each qualifier, the main event or the tournament itself (depending on the format), they cannot be substituted after starting said stage under any circumstances, the player who cannot be able to use the Axies he registered will be disqualified.
- Unless otherwise specified in the particular rules of the tournament, the players will be able to play with any of the runes that are available in the registered ronin that contains the registered Axies.
- Each player must register a valid ronin who owns the registered assets, is ronin can have a larger amount of the Axies allowed by regulation and that were registered but the player must make sure that during the tournament only use those registered at Community Gaming.
- The in-game name must match the name in Community Gaming and be similar to the Discord username to make it easier for admins to find.
- Tournament prizes will be sent to the connected Ronin of the winners.
Matches
- Players must play the number of games (Best of 3, Best of 5, etc) specified in the Bracket/Rules, this is not modifiable, playing a number of games that does not correspond to what is established means disqualification. In a best of 3 the first player to get 2 wins wins, in a best of 5 the first player to get 3 wins wins and in a best of 7 the first player to get 4 wins wins and so on. Ties do not change the score, so if a game ends in a tie, the players must continue playing until they get a result that gives victory to one or the other player.
- The tolerance to show up to the game once the matchup is ready is 10 minutes after one of the two players has confirmed in the Matchup Lobby in Community Gaming, after confirming both players their presence in Community Gaming in the event that one of the two players is not available to start the confrontation, a dispute must be initiated for the organization to make a decision.
- After finishing each game (individual game within the series) the players have the right to exchange their Axies for any they have registered in the tournament, as well as the formation of the Axies on the field. Players do not have to notify their opponent that they are going to make changes to their lineup, they just need to ensure that these changes are made as soon as possible, about 3 minutes maximum and using only previously registered axies.
Disconnections
- In extreme circumstances where servers are unavailable, the match will be stopped by the referee and the current match will be restarted. If it is not possible to continue with the series, it will be rescheduled for future dates.
- If a disconnect occurs in the middle of the game, it is counted as a loss for the disconnected player unless both players agree or an administrative decision is made under the circumstances.
- Ensuring a good internet connection is the responsibility of the player.
Cheats/Bugs/Match-Fixing/Other
- Players may not use any cheats, bugs, or glitches within the game. If a player employs an error or a technical problem, the series must be stopped and the referee will decide how to proceed with the game and issue a ruling.
- Players may not bet or fix games during The Royal League. Any evidence of match fixing will result in a ban to be determined by Hall of Knights administration.
